UPDATE: Revised maps in comments

Here are two maps of the NY congressional districts imposed by the courts superimposed over the NY districts from the 1990s.  I did not touch NYC.  All blue lines are the approximate borders of the new districts.

This map
This is really hard to make out...

From IL-09, familial roots in MI-14, college in PA-02/07, and working for the summer in DC-AL.

Andy Hill for WA-Governor!

What makes it hard?

The way
it is drawn makes it very hard to make out.

Republican Medical Doc from New York, NY

The bold blue lines should trace the 1992 districts, not the 2012 ones, since those are already clearly distinguishable by their colors. It's very hard to see the black lines.

And, I am not sure what the point of the diary is without more analysis.

[ Parent ]
It does show the collapse of population in upstate NY

Let's not forget to thank akosmowski for the map!
Thank you! I appreciate your hard work. I do agree, however, that I'd be able to appreciate more if I could see the old lines better!

A revision is coming.
Thanks for your comments.  I will have a revision up by the end of the day.

Representative on Congress: Rep. Turner, OH

I will be happy
To see the revision.
