IL-Sen '16: Mark Kirk made his return to the Senate today, with an inspirational walk up the Capitol Steps.
MA-Sen: TV Psychyatrist Keith Ablow is considering a run - as a Republican. Ablow, of Newbury, is a Brown/JHMI grad, author of several best-selling books, and frequent Fox News contributor. This all is likely a moot point though as he sounds like he would defer to both Scott Brown and Bill Weld, one of whom is almost certain to run.
AZ-Gov: 2012 Senate candidate Richard Carmona (D) is considering a bid for Governor. Carmona would probably clear the Dem field if he ran, but face an uphill battle in the general election. There are a multitude of Republicans considering the race for possibly-term-limited-or-maybe-not Governor Jan Brewer's office.
PA-Gov: Montgomery County Commissioner Bruce Castor (R) is not wasting an opportunity to hit Gov. Tom Corbett over his lawsuit against the NCAA. Castor, who has been openly exploring a Corbett primary challenge, calls the suit "too little, too late."
NJ-Gov: Christie: $2.1M in 36 days, with no fundraisers. I think it's time to send some dough to the RGA and NJ State Legislators, Governor.
NYC-Mayor: Long-ago councilman Sal Albanese (D-Bay Ridge, Brooklyn), who left office in 1997, is running for Mayor. He is not expected to be a serious factor.
